These are compilations with very important information related to the district and is presented in an interesting way. It is helpful in facilitating the implementation of governance and administration. The importance of these texts is reflected in the fact that since 1803 when administrative authority maintained the detailed accounts of the district for administrative ease till today when it has taken the shape of a gazetteer, the regimes have changed, the systems have changed, the working style has changed, but their relevance remains.
